It was absolutely delicious!!!!The rice and beans were the best I've ever had. And i don't even like rice and beans. The chimichonga was of the hook
MoreTheir food is the best we've had in Destin! We've tried all the popular restaurants off the Harbor and shore line none compare! Margaritas are strong too! Best part the portions and price is very affordable! Must try!
MoreIf your looking for real Mexican food while your on vacation, this is the place to go. We came from Texas and every other corner you got seafood. So glad we found this little spot, great chips and salsa, quick service. Food was like back home.
MoreFood was very good. Five stars for the one waiter we had and he did his best to tend to everybody. They catfish you with the plates though dont get tricked.
MoreService was very good and quick. The food came out quick but this was during a late lunch hour so I can't speak to how it would be during peak hours. The food was decent but not hand crafted and seasoned. I would go again but it didn't stand out as a "must go back place".
MoreTo start, the hostess does not greet you with a smile. But no biggie, our waiter was nice. The margaritas are huge and yummy! However, the food was awful, just terrible. I got the tamales. They tasted old. I truly cannot find another way to describe it. The sauce on the tamales tasted like marinara sauce from out of a can. No warmth to my food whatsoever. I should have stopped eating it but it took forever to get and we were starving. My husband got rice with steak and cheese dip. I don't remember the name of the dish. His rice was dry. Steak was cold. He didn't get sick tho. No more than 30 minutes after leaving from eating there and i spent the remainder of my date night with my hubby violently puking. It took about 3 days to feel decent again. I should have took heed to the fact that the parking lot was empty. I hate to leave a bad review. But this is honest. And i don't want others to get sick too. At least Don't eat the tamales!!!!!!!
MoreFirst Visit for lunch. Not busy at 1:00pm, made it nice to enjoy a leisure lunch.Ordered the Margarita Pitcher.Glasses Arrived and we were excited by the expectation of a FABULOUS drink...Not at all the case. Very bland, no real flavor to drink. Lime flavor was off.The guacamole was very good. The Festive Fajitas Plate Doubled was perfect for 4 adults.Balanced flavors and chicken was tender and juicy. Steak very good. Shrimp 2as lacking in dish...we each had one(1).Never understand how your served only four(4) tortillas for a large entree.Ended up eating the Chips with the fajitas mix.Staff never checked on us after serving the entree. No drink reorder or dessert offered.
MoreBest SERVICE EVERRR! FAJITAS excellent! Great for family and employee functions!
It's where the locals go for great food, drinks & casual laid back dining. It's clean & the staff is amazing. You feel like you've known them for years. If you want to experience Mexican food as locals do? Stop by Pedro's Cantina you'll add it to your 'secret list' of places you will definitely return to.
MoreThe best Mexican meal our group have ever eaten. Service was quick. Great place to eat. Will be back for sure!
MoreBest fresh lightly fried Gulf shrimp I've ever had. Coming from a local.
Visiting from Ohio and found this little gem tucked away just off the main road. So glad we tried it! We had fajitas, steak tacos, kids chicken fingers, and a beef/bean burrito. All meals were perfect! Hot and full of flavor! Even the picky kiddos raved about it. The service was fast and the staff was polite. Thank you for a great experience!
Morethe service was very good and the food was really good especially for having 19 people in our group and Everyone loved it
MoreLoved the steak tacos, cheese dip and salsa. Things were $10-15 per person.
Good food... good margaritas
They have great food, and great margaritas. The wait staff are good and very friendly.
MoreGreat local place. Serves good food reasonable prices. Great service.
Great food! Authentic and very satisfying! Great margaritas!
Excellent service! Delicious food! Will definitely be back!
Our family ate here. There were 23 of us and they were so accommodating. The service was excellent and the food was great! Would highly recommend this place.
MoreExcellent experience. The salsa was seasoned just right with a nice kick to it. The fajitas were also excellent. We will definitely be back.
MoreGreat food
My husband and I had dinner. We ordered the 10 dollar pitcher of Margaritas, they tasted old and rotten, was fearful I would get sick if I drank it. The food was okay, the service was lacking, acted like we were imposing.
MoreNot the place to go if you're African American. My party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) went here to enjoy some mexican cuisine. We were seated and behind us came a party of about 8 caucasian women. They received their chips and salsa, drinks, and alcoholic beverages before we even recieved chips. We sat there about 15 more minutes and nobody said a word to us. We were the only people that look like us in the establishment and the eyes were on us. VERY comfortable experience. Pretty pathetic that we are in 2019 and this behavior still exists. Needless to say, I'll NEVER step foot into this place again.
MoreGreat restaurant, not too loud. Chemichangas were great, and the hot sauce was Excellent. Nice place.
MoreThe most awesome thing about this place is the Frida Kahlo on the windows and the painted shutters on the glass front doors. And that's it. Go to the local grocery store, buy the packaged versions of what you want to eat... and it will taste better, by so much that it was honestly kind of insulting that I paid them for the food and drink served to us. I gave them one star because they were open with no line when so many places were closing earlier or too busy from limited capacity and the inevitable long wait times. If I could have given half a star, it would have been because they were open, without lines and for Frida on the windows.
MoreGreat food. A place you could spend some time at having drinks however they never gave enough staff to provide the service expected. Drinks run empty before staff arrives to check on you.
MoreGood food, good service! Have always been treated like a friend when I go there.
Food was good but their service was sooooo slow. We were looking for something easy but will never be back. We had to ask for EVERYTHING....bowls, chips, more drinks. Had a party of 6 so they automatically added a $17 tip which is ridiculous because we did not get $5 worth of service. The only thing they were quick about was to take our money when it was time to pay. Don't waste your time....
MorePlace was awesome! Food, staff, and excellent accommodations for a larger group was impressive!! Highly recommend!
MoreVery good food, a little stingy on the meat though. Give it a try!
Great. Nachos locos were awesome.
Don Pedros Cantina was a nice place to have dinner. It is easy to see from the road and the prices are very affordable. The food was pretty good, but not exceptional. It is a casual environment and the table service was nice. I recommend the place.
MoreI haven't had any dish that I wasn't pleased with. Even the rice & beans are great. Sometimes I'll stop by just for the horchata.
MoreGood food. Drinks were good also.
Not great. No happy hour. Service was great but food did not match. I think ill drive further down the strip next trip down and see what's there.
MoreI loved The restaurant to be the first time The waiter javier did an excellent job thanks for those drinks.
MoreThe food was really good but the server, not so much
Great place and loved the food. Quesadilla is to die for. Great service and great environment.
MoreGood American Mexican food, at a great price, and a responsive wait staff.
Great food and friendly staff!
Clean interior and bathrooms; great Lunch specials: the tasty chicken chunks in the delicious chicken salad bowl and the ground beef nachos were of generous proportions and quality ingredients. Our server, Kayla, couldn't have been better. Her timing, anticipation, and thoughtful service was very much appreciated. There is plenty of parking in the Miramar Plaza. I will be returning soon to try their margaritas too!!
MoreCheese dip was cold. Food was not good.
Decent Tex-Mex option had reasonable price and within walking distance of the beach. Staff was friendly, and it was not crowded at the time I went in. Service was very fast.
More1st timer,, the food was delicious, the service not so great. Will be back😊
We ordered chicken Nachos al Carbon. . .all I can say is SUPERIOR AND SUPERB!!!!! All you other mexican houses needs take note from these people. Mind you we were brought 2 different orders because the language barrier of the order taker getting our order wrong. But when it was made right. . .it was RIGHT!!!!
MoreFood was ok. Margarita tasted old.
The service was terrible. Took a long time to get drinks, chips and food. Food was cold and sub par at best. Then you get the check and they have added 18% auto gratuity to your check with a place for an additional tip, not just for large parties we were a table of 4. I’m a local and this looked like a good local spot. It was a joke. Go ahead and take the little wait time and go to Pepitos.
MoreVery good food and service! Wtg Don Pedro's!
A little local spot with excellent food. They will make whatever you ask for! One time I wanted a shrimp enchilada, but I also wanted a spinach enchilada, so they made me a spinach enchilada topped with grilled shrimp and it was wonderful! They also have the best wings I have ever had! Not a traditional buffalo sauce, it has a Mexican twist! Be sure to ask for the home made ranch. The tacos are great and you can get thos ala cart any way you want them. Be sure to ask for the home made taco sauces (red and green). Pictured is a healthy option, grilled shrimp salad.
